Presentations Built for
Leaders, Not Technologists
Every presentation is customized for your audience and event context. These are Ken’s core topic areas — starting points for a conversation, not a fixed catalog.
Security Is a Leadership Discipline — Not an IT Function
The Five Pillars of Security Leadership: Clarity, Identity, Governance, Culture, and Leadership. Why every organization’s security posture begins with how its leaders think — and what to do about it. Signature keynote.
AI Security: What Leaders Must Decide Before They Adopt Anything
Data leakage, shadow AI, model exposure, and accountability gaps — the risks executives need to understand before any AI investment decision. Cutting through the hype to the questions that matter.
Identity Is the New Perimeter — And Most Leaders Don’t Know It
Why the network edge no longer defines your security boundary, why MFA alone isn’t enough, and the four questions every executive should be able to answer about their organization’s identity program.
Governance: The Leadership Discipline That Makes Everything Else Work
Without governance, your tools are guesses and your policies are suggestions. How to build the decision-making systems, accountability structures, and compliance frameworks that turn security investment into security outcomes.
Culture Is the Real Perimeter — Why Tools Don’t Fix People
The $2M security stack that a single phishing click undid. Why technology alone can never close the human gap — and what leaders actually do to build a security culture that sticks.
Vendor Noise vs. Strategic Clarity: How Leaders Make Better Security Decisions
How to evaluate the market, cut through marketing noise, and align technology investment with organizational strategy — not the vendor’s roadmap. Built for executives who are tired of being sold to.
A Perspective You Can’t
Get from a Vendor
Ken spent nearly 18 years inside Microsoft working alongside CISOs, CIOs, and senior leaders across every major industry. He’s delivered executive briefings to hundreds of organizations — seeing firsthand what separates those that lead on security from those that merely react to it.
His perspective isn’t built on theory or certification courses. It’s built on pattern recognition across real organizations — the hard-won clarity that comes from watching the same failures repeat themselves, and helping leaders break the cycle.
Add to that: a doctoral research focus on digital privacy and human behavior, 8 seasons on the NFL sideline, 8 years in elected public office, and an active teaching role at the graduate level — and you get a speaker who brings genuine range to every room.
